Thread: Audi running lights

  1. #1

    Default Audi running lights

    What you guys think.

I love the look of the led lights as seen on the audis.
Yes its very ricey, is it even "hey I can only afford a mazda but wish I had an audi"?

I cant really find a place where they could be fitted to the front of the MPS, unless actually in the light. It can not look like the poor effort HSV has done with the sticking on of their kit from ebay. (& then chargin $80k or so).

I think in the headlight is the only way to go, but not sure of how to do the job of seperating the light assembley, and is the risk of damaging the headlight outweigh the look, especially if it looks try hard.
The strip lights are pretty cheap, might be worth trying?

So yeah jury is out on this one

    So what yall think?

Love the audi daylights too, but they only look really good on the Audis, other cars have tried to copy them and IMO they have failed miserably.

Have seen 1 or 2 mazdas with them on and honestly still a fail to succesfully make them look good or anywhere near as good as they look on the Audis.

Angel eyes on the other hand is a diferent history, they look awesome on the MPS...Gen 1 anyways.

Yeah I agree with Nirv, they just don't look right on any other car.

I would look at Angel Eyes if you want a stand out look

Yep, gotta agree with Nirv and Trics as well - go the Angel Eyes if you want to stand out.
Speak to Jenxi about the woes of putting them in tho, you gotta heat up the entire head-light assembly to crack it open! Then you have to re-seal it after installing the Angel Eyes...not something for the faint-hearted...

I personally don't see the appeal of the Audi lights, they look very "Marlows" to me...like an after-thought. Definately don't like what HSV has done, try-hards...

looks like its the big thumbs down for angel lights. Thats good, thanks for the honest feedback.

I will have to check out the light assembly a bit more and then see in angels could be the go.

I used a Heat Gun not the oven..

it took me 1 Careful Hour to Separate both Headlight housings bymyself with no damage to the housings..

if i had a spare pair of hands it would have been even faster
