They are super-grippy in the dry and average in the wet. Not bad, just average. I haven't tried to thrash in the wet so couldn't say much more really but no specific complaints.

I can get KU36's at these prices/sizes in melb:
    235/40R18 95W $199
    225/40R18 92W $215
    225/45R18 95W $225
    245/35R18 92W $196
    245/40R18 93W $245

Thats including fitting and balance and disposal of the old tyres.

I just ordered a set of Kumho Ecsta KU31's 225/40/R18.
The KU36's were a bit too much "slick" on them for normal day-to-day driving for my liking...

    Hey guys,

I tried to search but couldn't find any info and this is as close as i got to a handy thread. I'm due for new tyres on my 6 MPS, and was wandering if the 225/45 will fit on the standard rim or is the 215 the widest it can take.

    Thanks

Really? It's a pretty common question but thanks for trying
225 will fit on a standard rim.
I have 225/45 on both the 6 and the 3 no issues.
May rub if you are lowered and for insurance and legal reasons you may want to check the model is OK for 7 inch wide rim.. that aside they will fit.
If you are looking for reviews of tires check the tire review thread. Should be a sticky in the handling section

Hi Alex. I'm a happy customer of yours.
Have you considered becoming a forum vendor so you can sell through the club?

Huh? 235 is wider than 225 so they would be worse. 235 = no no on standard rims
