    Exclamation Crunch Time!

    Old Mac Mazda Springwood currently hold my car.
    some of you may know i have a tinsey lil overheating/ cracked headgasket
    thing going on.
    well ill prob get the bad news today, but i wonder if the 3 year unlimited warranty will save my arse here?what you think.

    ow and its also my 80,000k service today, 'its a biggy' he said!
    'whats the damage' i replied!!
    '$510.60'
    i also asked for my 'mps' gearstick knob back too!!
    i had an sp23 knob, one time or another someone switched it!!
    not happy!!
    anyway ill keep you posted!
    any tips for me here too would be helpful

    1st, Ask yourself, Why wouldn't the warranty cover it?
    2nd... What the hell??!? Your joking right. Wow, I would most certainly be mighty upset. If you have any pics of the car with the original gearstick on show them those to prove it...

    this isnt the first time i tryed to get the gearstick knob replaced!
    but the gentelman at mazda was very understanding and did admit it was not right at all, i also noticed my repair kit is missing too, tho im unsure if i or someone else took it out, but the gear stick nob def was switched.
    fingers xed!!

    ***UPDATE***
    I apparently DONT have anything wrong with my car!!
    Just a hose that leaks and has now been fixed!
    the guy there said she was a fine machine!!
    aaannnd my gearstick knob is on its way!!!
    yeewwww!!
    total $ for todays 80k service ended up at $560!!
    ill pick it up tomorrow credit card in hand!!

    im so happy!!
    bloddy heck was dreading the call!!
    80000 is a big freakin service.. everything gets changed over well pretty much!!
    cant wait to collect tommoz!!

    are you coming on Sunday, if so make sure your out the back in case you over heat.... no I hope they fixed it for good this time mate...

    Dont know....i havent let Mazda service my car since they did the 70000km one.

    I either take it to a mechanic i know and trust and do the rest myself.

    I think they told me off hand...it was about $800 - $900

    my 40k service was apparently going to cost $2500
    Apart from the $550 service, apparently I needed not only new discs, but rotors, and 4 new potenzas. I told them to jam it, did the service, since replaced tyres myself and brakes still going strong, according to my mechanic discs should be good for another 10000, and rotors are fine
    As if you would use mazda to service your car, what a rort!

    installed gauges, this caused the hoses not to be replaced correctly...
    coolant pissed out!!
    i see there point.. im in talks with Autobarn atm!!! they installed incorrectly regarding the hoses being secured!!
