    Service interval: 60,000km
    Date: 21 May 2010
    Price: $103.40
    Service rating: 9/10

No oil / oil filter and no air filter required as I do them myself.

Free loan car if booked with enough notice.

Had to have the turbo and prop shaft replaced (12 mths after warranty expiry). Rolfe Mazda put it to Mazda HQ who agreed to both fixes at no cost.

    Great to include hire car.
Being charged for wiper fluid was amusing considering I had filled it up a week previously to the brim and did not use any wiper fluid since. Might bring it up with them next time.
Shifting issues as brought up with them were identified but they did not have time to fix. Will find another day off somewhere to organise one...

Overall I guess the wiper fluid issue is forgivable given they loan courtesy car.

    Comments:
    - Prompt service, gave an accurate estimate on what time the car would be done

-Head service ?manager was a D**k though (all the other staff were polite) - plain rude, abrupt and gruff and tried to get me to change my back wipers even though they were fine (prompted by me supplying my own wipers to change the front which they changed for free)

-Charged me for windscreen fluid when they didnt even fill it up as I had filled up mine just the night before. Wonder what else they charged me for that they didnt do.

-Offered a free vacuum and car wash which was good but i didnt accept as I didnt know how meticulous they would be as mine was the first car of the day. Observing them later they were pretty good overall so maybe next time I will accept

Not spectacular but efficient, polite and didn't do anything without first asking. ie they recommended replacing tyres, I said no, they said fine. Will go back again next time. Communication was excellent and even called me weeks later to make sure I was happy with the service.

Overall a good experience. Warranty work: Knock in rear end, replaced a sway bar link which was loose. I supplied my own oil (Nulon Syn 5W-30). They allowed me $72.50 for oil (not a bad mark up on Magnetec 5w-30 mineral oil which is what that dealer uses for MPS!)

Always have a very positive experience with Slaven Mazda, they are polite and friendly and always take care of my car. They told me today mine is one of the best looked after MPS's they have seen and what a great car the MPS6 is, made me feel proud

Comments: the service guys are a bunch of clowns and have no idea what they are talking about/.
I took my car in because i had an exhaust leak from my turbo becasue the bolts had come lose. the said it was the power steering (which i - or most people - knew it wasn't).
finally i fixed the issue on my own purchasing the parts from City Mazda.

note: anyone can do a service on a car. but it comes down to how good you are at diagnosing problems without the OBD / CAN tool.

Bothering to post because the car felt so so good compared to a previous service undertaken in Glen Waverley. Just felt like it was a proper job; super quick service too - was in at 830 and out by 1130.

Overall:12 /10 as they dont mind the modds with warranty claims (just be honest) , having cars serviced there for years helps .. As a modder i dont mind paying extra for servicing if the dealer can see we are a car lover and such modding is part of it

they even degreased the engine bay for me

They rotated and and aligned my wheels as requested. Fished a loose bolt in my tailgate. Changed my pollen filter

Never had a problem and Justan is a supastar. Still waiting on Mazda Australia to deliever my new fuel tank so it can be changed under warranty. But can't complain when the give me a free loan car, they don't wash my car (as advised) and they dont use a rattle gun on my wheels

    Super nice and super attentive

Credit were credits due, I was charged as according to the mazda maintenance service cost which is good I suppose, but when queried about why I was charged $83 for engine oil got the response of "thats what laid out in the mazda schedule" ( i'd never been charged more then $56 previously), For that sort of money I could buy 5lt of a full synthetic oil from super cheap, I doubt that much oil would cost them any more then $20 the way they purchase it. Also queried why I was told about a charge of $1 for windscreen solution but then charged $25.20 for workshop supplies. I was told that covers grease, just had a good look over my car and can't tell what was touched with a grease gun, asked the service guy and he couldn't tell me either. Seems like they just charge were they can to justify what mazda set down in their schedule. I don't know how they get away with charging $115 pHr for labour, how much do apprentices get paid again? Also got charged $54 for 2 new windscreen wipers (without being told) and $90 for a safety certificate (I thought the Queensland state government had set that price to $65). All little things that add up, not happy. Also got charged $45 for a warranty check which is fantastic if they found something, I'd be happy paying $200 if they actually found some stuff that required replacing. I'm not going to complain about that yet, I'll save that until it's 6 months out of warranty and everything goes to s%*t.
I'd be interested to hear if anyone else had any good or bad experiences at this dealer, everyone is out to make a buck I suppose.

Very impressed with these guys, as slixx mentioned above, Justan is a great guy. I supplied my own oil so it was actually about $285. I believe they use semi-synthetic castrol magnatec 5w30. For the record they charge $105/hr. Free hire car when available, they gave me a brand new 6 wagon which was nice. One thing, they chipped some of my plastidip off a rim, Justan was very apologetic and offered $50 off my next service (I fixed the chip in 5 minutes), or fix the rim themselves. They checked all my engine mounts which I was impressed with and found my transmission mount collapsed, lucky I had a new one already on order. Didn't charge me for unneeded crap like washer fluid when already full cough Penfold cough.
I was also getting my AC looked at but they had run out of refrigerant. They were more than willing to help and will be bringing in an AC specialist nearby to look at my system.
I would not usually go to the dealer but I like my logbooks stamped and service 5000km interval myself.

I know I can get servicing cheaper, I'll pay for the customer service and honesty. Justan is awesome and I would recommend anyone to go there.

I'm very particular about my car and they appreciate my time and my loyalty rather than treat me like a douche

Gave me the usual loan car and told me my brake pads and rotors need changing soon. Gave me a quote, but expected that I'd probably go for an aftermarket option as they are expensive.

    Front Pads: $497.00 (pair)
    Front Discs: $1320.00 (pair)

They tried to clear up my washer jets, but they still don't spray very well and advised that the jets might need replacing. I'll let then know if I want a quote

Lots of compliments on the upgrades in Tuning, DP and gear shift. Had a good chin wag when I picked it up

All and all the usual service and 10/10

Very happy with the service I was given. The car just went in for a normal service, they weren't asked to do anything else, so no complaints there.
They noted that my front tyres were quite worn, and got quotes from 4 different tyre retailers on a range of tyre brands without being asked too. I didn't end up using them, but was very pleased with the gesture. Commented on how well kept the car was (they already knew this, because they sold it too me!) and went out of their way to make sure I was pleased with the car.

They also organised to have me dropped off at work (I didn't ask till that morning when I dropped the car off) and then came and picked me up from work when the car was ready (did it off their own back, I didn't ask for them to). Couldn't be happier there.
