Thread: Triple gauge pod - What gauges?

  1. #1

Default Triple gauge pod - What gauges?

I have a triple gauge pod and I'm undecided on what gauges to buy. Does the CPe pod use 52mm only?

    Boost-vac (2 bar type)
AFR gauge (wideband, with o2 sensor)

What else? Something necessary of course. Not digital please.

I don't have a budget, but, I'm not paying $500 per gauge. I like DEFI, but, I think 3 gauges requires a link kit?

I think the red lit gauges are nice. Should I keep it in theme with the std dash, black background, or go white?

    The CP-e will fit both a 52mm & 60mm ( with some triming).
We also have another pod which will be released next month that will be alot cheaper.

    Gauges,
Boost, Oil pressure & wide band that's a good start
here's the links to the Prosport Gauges

    From left to right
    Prosport 52mm Oil Temp
Prosport 52mm Premium Boost (requires a bit of trimming to fit correctly)
    Prosport 52mm EGT

haven't wired them in yet and hope the colour between the standard and premium are the same

EDIT: Blue/White option here to match my blue volume lighting

i would stick with red gauges, it would be a sleeker look compared to white which might not really fit in with all the red

with gauge choice, depends on what you want to monitor and what type of driving you mainly do

i would go with either water/oil temp so you know when its "safe" start driving hard

not much point in oil pressure really since you will hear it if the oil pump/pickup isnt working

It really depends on what you want. The MPS 3 can pull off both amber and the blue.

    Personally I like blue!

Are you going to get the premium prosport gauges? or the standard ones? Premiums are soooo much better!
