Another Mazda 3 MPS - Almost fully bolted - Waiting for a turbo upgrade - The weekend hack.
Toyota Yaris - Coilovers, rollcage, raceseats, harnesses, 18s - Also waiting for a turbo upgrade.
2011 AWD Territory - White and Slightly lowered on 22s - The tow car.
2011 RWD Territory - Black on black and slammed on 22s - The family transporter.
Have to agree with Troy sorry. Dual tips do look good, but they (overall) oval shape of them doesn't suit the round hole.
But, its your car, your happy, so it really doesn't matter what I or anyone else thinks.
Good to see people trying different things
That first GEN I in this thread is still sexy as sin....still no brave enough to cut my rear bumper up but
Maybe even a staggered set (big and small)
Yeah I do know what your saying, And to a point I actually agree with both of you. But it's done now. Maybe if i'd went with 2.25" pipes or even 2" would have fitted the cut out better maybe.
But in hind sight if I were to do it again I would have gotten the tapered cut tips that follow the curve of the bumper.
Had:
Mitsubishi Evolution III ~12.0@114mph~
Mitsubishi Evolution VII ~12.8@106mph~
06 MPS 3 True Red
Now:
~07 Ralliart Colt ~14.85@96mph~
~2010 Velocity Red Luxury MPS 3.
3" CAI, K&N, Race pipe, Silicone Intake pipe, Custom Intercooler heat shield, LED Conversion, Gloss Black Wheels.
Mate, you're still the first to try it on a GenII (that I've see seen published on this forum).
It was always challenge to fit decent size tips in that space.
Top effort IMO. Gives GenII owners something to think about. Still looks tough, I'd be proud to drive it.
I've angled my single 4 inch tips to follow the bumper. That's what I'd try of I went double, like mentioned above. But others have their custom tips coming straight out, like yours. Each to their own.
How does it sound?
Thanks for sharing
