the mazda badge is pinned so if you remove it there will be 2 holes left there.
Easiest way. I sprayed some WD40 on fishing wire and slowly jimmied it behind the badge and worked my way down until i hit the pins. Then came from the bottom up until i hit the pins. Then from the sides, i came in. The pins pop out fairly easily when you pull towards you with the fishing wire.
Mazda badge has 3 holes, (M) badge has 2
I have removed both of mine and removed the glue and so they are just held in with the plastic grommets, it makes it so much easier to remove them for waxing etc.
Another good idea is to hit them with a hair dryer, or heat gun for a little while (dont burn your paint) to soften the glue, I found WD40, or similar adhesive removers to make a lot of mess as they have more of a tendency to break down the glue.
Nearly all men can stand adversity. But if you want to test a man's character - give him power.
