    hiii guys my first time on a forum not really sure how it works

    il start of with my first question ...

    i have an AMB button next to my air con temp in my MPS 3 06

    when i press a temp comes up on the dash where the music plays from sayd the temp what is this i dont think its outside temp casue its always way off.

    Its the ambient temperature button and tells you the temp outside.

    When you have the aircon on...you can toggle between your temp inside <climate controlled> and the temp outside.

    When aircon/fans are off...it will be either blank or outside temp.

    Added to what duglet posted above the ambient temp sensor senses the outside air temp and sometimes this will vary to what the real temp is due to hot sunlight or parked in a garage etc, if it is extremely inaccurate then you may need to get it checked.

    It doesn't help that the sensor is pretty much mounted right in front of the radiator so very low so you get a lot of road heat as well.

    mines usually spot on, within 1 or 2C
