Default Someone with a bit of back seat knowledge lol

    Hi guys.
Since I've had my car I've always thought that my rear seat belt buckles have been incorrectly positioned and I have no idea how to re seat them properly, I've taken some pictures to let you guys know what I mean.
Any advice would be awsome, this has been annoying me since I've had it.
    Steve

    That's what I thought.
The buckles are stuck where they are in the pic.
I gave them all a bit of a pull and they aren't going anywhere...

The rear seat is quite easy to take out.

But the way you do it is to push down near the inserts (there are some slits there). Then pull the buckles through the slits and position them.

I've taken the whole back seat out before and put it back with no buckle issues.

The slit runs along the cut out where the buckle goes. But I do have cloth interior...perhaps its different??

Yes I did. Will post it tomorrow - at least 5kW!

It's really simple to do and you won't stuff anything up, just have a muck around and you'll soon figure it out.

If I get home at a reasonable hour tonight and no one else has shown you or you haven't figured it out for yourself I'll go take mine out and get some piccies for you in the process.

Failing that, take it back to the dealer and get them to do it - you could claim Warranty on something like this surely, as it's a safety issue.

That would be awsome Dan thanks a lot. I have to go to work now so I wont be able to attempt it until tonight.

Yeah I was going to take it to the dealer to fix up but I wouldnt be able to claim it under warranty because I bought the car from Sydney second hand so I'm guessing the previous owners have taken the seat out before.

What year is the car? Is it still under warranty? Shouldn't matter if it's 2nd hand or not.
More importantly, they should do it for you as a service...
