    Default Tyre Rubbing

    Hi Guys,

Just a question, on the weekend I got some ROH Mantis in 18x7.5 +45 offset with 225\40 falkens. I still have stock suspension. I'm wondering if anyone has after market wheels 7.5inch width or wider and has stock suspension, and has experienced any rubbing between rear tyres and guards with 3 passengers in the back or with a boot full of stuff?

I'm eventually going to lower the car, but as I'm saving money for other things at the moment, it might only be next year, so I'm trying to keep rolling of the guards till later. However if people have experienced rubbing, with stock suspension and wider wheels, then i'll look at getting it done soon.

    CHeers,

I went to the guy in Sydney that Shin had his guards done by. I got both my rears done in about 1 1/2 hours $50 each one, he did a supurb job. If your worried about it I would just get it done ... one less thing to worry about ... saves u damaging expensive tyres too

His name is Nelson, a top guy

Thanks blackbetty, Nelson was the guy I was going to call for guard rolling, but just wanted to know if people like yourself with aftermarket wheels experienced rubbing of the rear guards, with the stock suspension?

As for pics finally figured out how to post the images. Car is photoshop lowered as I hate seeing it at it's current stock ride height.
