Smile Loose/broken baffle in fuel tank

Hey guys my MPS is 2009 and has what we think is a loose/broken baffle in the fuel tank. Any one else had this issue? Did see on Google that this may be a fairly common problem in Mazda 3's.

My car has only done 112000km. Will be contacting Mazda tomorrow.

    Thanks

Mazda may still warrant the repair under good will but that may depend on the age of the car if it meets their policy.

How did things work out with the visit to Mazda?

I've read that you can use a couple of fairly powerful neodymium magnets attached to particular spots on the outside of the fuel tank and this will hold the baffle in place and stop it moving around. I haven't found example image yet but I have seen it posted as a workaround somewhere. It's a well documented issue that a few have had, Mazda have done some as good will warranty, can't hurt to ask.....
