Hey peeps, just wondering if any of you have experience with an MPS6 to MPS3 engine (and accessories) swap?
Anything not compatible?
Any help much appreciated. Cheers in advance.

What are you actually trying to do?

I think they are pretty much compatible, as long as you have the 3 transmission etc. Did you blow the engine on the 3 or something?

Ah, makes sense. I have no personal experience, but a quick search provides some useful info.

Looks like it's possible if you are willing to switch the accessories and only use the mps 6 block.

Ive run out of time this morning with kids activities etc but if it werent for the previous owner leaving the motor supported by the drivers side drive shaft, the motor would be out already.....
The drive shaft has popped out of the carrier on the rear of the motor and wont go back in. Now to pull the hub out, drive shaft out, and then the motor wont be jammed forwards and will lift straight out........oh the joy! :-)
