    Default Cobb ap querie

Hey everyone.....can I buy an AP from say a ford focus and simply load ots maps for an mps - or is there something specific hardware wise for our vehicles? Maybe the connector lead?

Just wondered if I need to narrow my search to MPS AP's ONLY?
Or if I can buy one to suit xxx make and model and go from there...

    Thanks in advance.

If you got to the Cobb site you'll see the part numbers are different. The mps' AP appear to be compatible across the board though as far as I last looked.

When you first plug it into your computer (which you should do before plugging into car) to get any required updares. Doesn't hurt to do this every few months to make sure it's up to date. 🖒

The mps used to come with ATR free, so was $150 USD more than those that didn't (ford).

It was one of the bigger draw cards to the AP.
