I'm curious to see how this thin aluminium holds up to alternating boost/vac pressure over time. Are you going to check on it in a few thousand Ks?

definitely yes, will check when fit turbo inlet pipe. i am going to make several thin aluminium block plate and overlap together to make sure it is strong and firm.

normally I'm a huge fan of quick, dirty and cheap DYI, but EGR delete kits are like 50 bucks, and they definitely get the job done. Not sure I'd like to save 49 bucks this way.

Having said that, good on you for getting your hands dirty and fabbing something up! we always need guys coming up with new ideas
