Thread: new noise from standard BOV and high WG duty

Default new noise from standard BOV and high WG duty

Suddenly noticed BOV noise from my stock tune (no mods) MPS6 (especially with aircon on) logs (with aircon on 3rd gear, one run in each direction))show good performance but I've noticed WG duty hits 100% and looking back at my previous logs I'm not sure this had been as high before, any Ideas?

    Guessing you mean stage 0...
Can't be on stock tune if you're getting AP logs...

Don't have a computer in front of me, but suspect the wgdc table in ATR has 100% wgdc up to 2250rpm

As you're going full throttle at that rpm, it's commanding 100% wgdc

Picture I found on google image search to help describe it...
You've likely never gone WOT sub 2250 rpm before... So, never saw 100% wgdc...

Thanks Sam that puts my mind at ease a little about the WG duty, and you are right about not often if ever before going WOT below 2250RPM, any idea about the BOV noise between gears especially 2nd -3rd and 3-4th under full throttle with aircon on.

Here are the graphs of those runs.

    Got nothing for the noise...
All I know is my Sri/bpv is louder some days... Never really looked into it before...

    Saturday, heaps loud
    Sunday, quiet

Figure it's something to do with atmosphere/temp/humidity/air pressure/air con/what I ate for breakfast...
