    Hi guys.. new to sydney and have a mps 6 . Was part of the mps club in western australia used to love going to the mps meets. Just wondering whats the situation in sydney with meets etc. Any help be gratefull.cheers!!

    Depends if you want a "cruise" or a "meet"
    The FB group tend to prefer meets which usually involves going to Krispy Kreme or some other place to eat.
    Actual Cruises that involve driving distances more than 20km without needing to stop for food seem to be a thing of the past.
    The lure of sugary treats is just too great

    There is just too much interference with the authorities when a bunch of guys with a passion for automobiles gather in a group to drive somewhere.

    They tend to spoil the fun, even when everyone is behaving.

    I guess more and more these passions we have are seen as appliances and becoming recognised as solely as a mode of transport

    Although it was kinda cool when we picked up the truckies chatting about us on their CB radios (on our CB radios!) who noticed a large group of Mazda's (and others) at a country NSW intersection where we'd stopped for a regroup. What was it they referred to us as?
