excellant results. did you guys use an orbital or muscle? I've got the products but cant get the results. Not too sure if its because Im not using an orbital. I just cant be stuffed rubbing the products in cause it sucks when you dont have a garage

Was all muscle, clay bar cleaned the paint up and all products were applied by hand. Even though I'm not into car detailing as such I wouldn't let an orbital anywhere near any car I owned.

The car looks nothing like that now though unfortunately, many kms of driving all over the place and the stone chips have stuffed the paint on the front bar and bonnet, it's due a respray on those bits...

    Yeah...

And I realised I didn't answer the orbital question. See PostmanDans car post smash repair for a reason why I don't let orbitals anywhere near a car I own...

I'd say the smash repairer would have used a circular (rotary) machine. Not an orbital. A random orbital will struggle to remove the swirl marks let alone cause any damage. What you really should be thinking is there's no way I'd let someone that doesn't know what they are doing with a rotary near my car.

It's not the tools, it's the person using them. This car has been machined with a rotary by me.

Excuse my ignorance but does OCW stand for Optimum Car Wash or something else?

Would love to get into high end detailing like this. Probably the only way I'd ever be able to truly justify the amount of time spent on a car
