Hey guys, few people have seemed to like the rear diffuser I made so I decided I'd be able to make a few more.
It consists of a flat base extending from the rear subframe to the lip at the bottom of the rear bumper, onto which 6 parallel fins are mounted by rivets.
It's made from an aluminium plastic composite material, plastic core with aluminium skin on either side, so quite rigid and tough, as well as keeps weight down (though not like fibreglass or cf etc).
I do not claim it to have any performance benefit, but if you happen to get some then that's awesome, I made this purely for aesthetic purposes at this point in time.
Here are some pictures of the diffuser painted and installed on my car:
Fits snug under the back bumper;
And continues to allow use of the factory tow point;
As well as the factory camber adjustment bolts;
This is the design of the back of the fin, rounded over:
(if you want a different design fin, longer, shorter, etc let me know and I can make it as you want)
Fins will be shipped like this with brackets attached and all assembly holes pre drilled, the fins and base will be clearly marked for ease of assembly;
And this is how the diffuser appears once assembled;
I have a short video showing installation procedure I will send to the buyer to help with install, install should take no more than 5-10minutes. (including jacking car up and back down).
Alternatively you can purchase the base to give a clean finished smooth look to the underneath rear of your car.
Cheers,
Alex.
