Thread: Cabin Turbo noise

  1. #1

    Default Cabin Turbo noise

    Hey guys

Anyone notice a difference in sound of the turbo recently given the cooler temperatures in Perth?

Either I was deaf before (or just never paid attention) but I seem to hear the turbo louder in the (6MPS) cabin over the last couple of weeks.

I'd describe it as a prolonged howling noise like when theres a strong gust of wind that blows past and it kicks in when you open the throttle a bit. Then when the car propels forward the sound eventually the sound dies off

    ...im assuming this is normal

Doesn't sound like that SarcasticOne, more low pitched and not that loud, but good to know what a boost leak can sound like
