    Default Cp-e Stage 2 RMM

Just fitted the Cpe RMM cant believe how tight everything feels.I have had the SURE mount in for a 2 years thought that was good compared to the stock one but this one reaches a whole new level.Quite a few vibes but I can live with that with the improvements in the gear shifts and the car seems to put the power down without effort.Removed the sure mount it is in almost new condition was w orried It was going to stuffed as the car started feeling loose f you know what I mean. its on a 2007 3

Nah, unless you go big torque, won't need to swap

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but looking at this mount atm. How bad are the vibes for a daily driver?

Guessing this is what you were messaging me about?

It's pretty tame to be honest... Only really bad during summer when air con on full blast... Once car cools down, they're there, but nothing bad... Very mild...

Yeah, that was what I was trying to message you about. So when they're at there worst is it just idling with A/C or driving as well? How bad are we talking - sphincter rattling bad or unusable rear-view mirror bad?

Barely feel it when actually moving...
When the air con is going at idle, it's noticeable... But it's more of a bum tickle with minor steering wheel vibes... Mirrors etc are still useable

That's reassuring. Have you adjusted the idle to help with this or is it still idling at factory specs?

Get a motor built by @MPS2NV and you'll never feel vibes again lol.

Pre engine build - what Sam Said. Some vibes at low RPM with the A/C on.

Post engine build - No more vibes than stock really.

The S2 Mount, once it's had a bit of time to bed in is less vibey than any of the other aftermarket REM's that i've used. It's probably on the same sort of level as the corksport inserts.

Sweet. That's definitely cemented my decision then.
