Thread: Removing Carpet Stains

    Default Removing Carpet Stains

Did a search and couldn't find anything similar.

I've got a carpet stain in the boot of my Gen 2 - might be due to a spare wheel I was carrying and moving around in the boot so its probably dirt grime, brake dust, etc

Whats the best way to remove this stain? I'm a bit hesitant to buy off the shelf supermarket products as I've had limited success on my own house carpet in the past. Thought I'd post this before I made the stain worse.

    Thanks

If you have access to a carpet extractor that would be your best bet.

Use a carpet brush and scrub it with something like Optimum Carpet & Fabric Cleaner/Protectant then as Dan said, use an extractor for best results.

If not you can do this manually by absorbing the liquid with microfibre cloths
