Thread: MPS Garage

    Default MPS Garage

MPS Garage is no longer an authorized dealer of CorkSport brand products. Any CorkSport products purchased from them are also not covered by our product warranty from this point forward. If someone has a question about a part they purchased from them please feel free to contact me via PM or email at Derrick (at) Corksport.com

This makes me want to buy cork sport stuff.
Please make stuff for focus ST please!

Its one thing to no longer have them as their official dealer, but to no longer warrant any CS product they sell, now that's interesting.
    Please explain @CorkSport

just stuff bought from now on... anything previously bought will be fine
it's like how when you buy electronics/cars from a grey importer (ie kogan)

EDIT: sadly they wont make stuff for the ST, they're a mazda only company
and on that note... hood struts for gen 1 that dont require rivet holes in bonnet please

Yay! That's a really sensible decision.

I cannot comment on what happened. The warranty notice is for anything purchased from here on out.

    That's a real shame.
But it's good news, something we have all been hoping for.
We just hope now you can find a good distributor that can deal correctly with customers and help promote your product in Australia, not turn people away from it

Even though they are out, will this change things a lot for us Aussie customers? People have been ordering direct from Corksport for ages now. So unless there is another Australian supplier who somehow could bring prices down a little in the savings of shipping products in bulk, I don't think we'll benefit much from this.

You would ask me to quote something which is too large for the post office to take

Shipping for the kit is ~380 usd via UPS expedited service.

Hi Derrick, was being a bit cheeky there, but thanks for the info. It's not a small thing that's for sure, your bound by the couriers pricing which I get. Hopefully someone local will take up your banner and we all win.

Would be lovely if @LittleredMPS and myself had enough in our kitty to stock some fast moving items! Would just like the corksport banner hanging up in my shed lol

Wonder what the start up kitty would be, plus with you too we would have a GENII and MPS6 CS show car. That would be so much fun! Hard work though, but doing something you live for a job, awesome.

The 2 hardest things would be people wanting certain colours of stuff (ie intakes) which would require someone to keep in stock at least one of each.

The other thing is with talks of possibly reducing the gst/customs duty from $1000 to $100 it could make less sense to bulk buy
