Even after someone else in QLD has done all the hard work, its pretty easy to claim it on your own.

Do you know what the cel is? If you have a Cobb access port a number of benign lights can be disabled.

I had the Cobb ap but sold it some months ago.
The code was for the cat heating up (even though there is no cat) from memory.
I will get it checked out today hopefully and take note of the code.

Think you've diagnosed your own problem...
What software you using to tune if no AP?

I am not using any software.
Edge Motorworks have stated that once we flash tune it should get rid to the CEL but I am not too sure after reading a few topics on here.
Wish I had my Cobb now!

What will they use to tune it then?

They will use something. I will find out once we get to that stage.
For now the main concern is to run the engine in.

Gents! New update - My shifter cable needs replacing. I have been informed the short shifter I have installed is the reason for the cable becoming frayed and snapping.
Anyone know where I can get another from apart from Mazda. They charge $480 and it is a 6-8 week wait for it to arrive from Japan so I have been told.

Nah, its a common 6 MPS fault, just ask @MPS2NV.
If you think $480 is expensive, just wait for the labour charge!

Cable was $520 when I needed one, did the work myself but whole dash and heater box had to be removed. Enjoy! Lol

Sounds like a fun day for me!
For me it is more the 6-8 week wait than the price of the cable. I have been without the car for too long as it is.
    Yep, TWM shifter.

Going back to stock I think.
