Default Bad fuel consumption after stage 2 maps

    Hey All

So finally got my Autotech internals installed. Last night i loaded on a Stage2+SUR2+TIH+IC 98. Now i know you guys hate the Sure products but i havent had any problems with them so far.

Man took it for a drive today and have noticed the difference which was amazing. Went down country on a 260 odd km drive and used around half a tank of gas. When i was running a standard tune it was a hell of a lot better fuel economy wise on long drives.

is this normal for it to use so much gas? have never seen the gas needle move to much haha

    cheers

would resetting the ecu achieve much?

Its possible that you're fuel trims are off which would cause the ECU to have to re-learn the new trims since you re-flashed it recently to stop it from injecting too much fuel and causing poor fuel economy ...

Do not reset the ECU that will cause the ECU to have to re-learn the new trims all over again.

you should take a log and look at LTFT's and confirm if there is a fuelling issue which would require a MAF recalibration.

No, but it will have to relearn all the fuel trims agian and most likely has not solved the problem.

You will need to put 50-100km back on the ECU, do a few logs and post logs.

I've had to reset the ecu before, yeah it will have to re learn the trims but it's solved some funky issues I've had before.
