    Default Hankook Ventus S1 Evo2

Am getting some in 215/45/18 for 980 delivered to my door. From a contact I have in hankook.

I can get some more but only in this size so if anyone wants any holla at me.

I haven't checked other retailers but I've been assured these are very good prices.

That's crazy. Is that the Evo2? I'm trying to get those fitted today, just waiting on a price I'm after 225 40 18 though

I will call him and ask but he did originally say he can get me a set and a couple others for any friends I have but only that size. I will see what he says.
Pretty sure it's 40% off retail.

    Great tyre!
I got the S1 evo2 in 235/40/18 on the stock Gen 2 rims since August.
Can confirm it sits nice and flush on the rim.

    Great handling and quiet tyre!
    Highly recommend..

He said yes to tyres @Yeldarb. Just getting you a price right now. I'm allowed 5 sets of tyres. If anyone wants tell me sizes and I see what I can do for you.
All tyres are delivered to me in Chatswood and you must organise pick up or book a courier from me to you.

$995 @Yeldarb. They shipped to me and then you will have to organise shipping to you and fitting so not sure if it works out for you anyway.
Can't do anything more about these now until Monday morning. If anyone want put down ur size and I find out Monday.

My local store has quoted $230 a corner. So I won't see them until Monday. Gutted, was hoping for this afternoon. Thanks for the offer though.

Its really interesting, but I was 100% on Michelin PS3 in 235/40/18. But with the concerns I have with space between the rim and shock tower, I couldn't afford too much tire wall bulge I guess you could call it. Was looking at $199 for the 235. Then went hunting for 225/40/18, What a jump. Best internet price was about $250. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to these Hankooks.

The wall buldge is quite big on the PS3 compared to stock, but damn they just about stick like glue with traction when jumping on it with a tuned engine that had zero traction in 2nd, they do rub over harsh bumps and attacking corners fast on any uneven road or a hair pin.

Hey, $750 is great. Mine were $880 fitted in the end.

    I reckon $15 $20 a tyre to fit?

Yeh sweet that's what I was hoping for. So in the end it's probably gonna end up bout $880 anyway or just under.

Jax wanted $45 each to fit tyres!
Tyre plus wanted $40 per wheel to fit!
Payless Tyres $11 per wheel plus $25 for alignment.

Yeah I've been quoted $15 a wheel for tyre mounted balanced and fitted.

They look like a great street tyre. I just ordered some RS3's for $200 a corner fitted and balanced.

Talking to a guy at jax tyres today and he said the evo 2 will be fazed out soon and replaced with the s1 noble 2 witch he said was a very good high performance tyre
