that head unit you have, the OPAL.
How is it? easy to use? any bad points, features?

and do you still have full functionality of factory stuff (i.e. all steering controls, factory amp and factory sub, no dramas with climate control etc)

Just that you are the first person I have seen to use this head unit. I have been eying them off for a while... but never got any real good reviews etc. especially on an MPS.

anyways... keen for a response... I may just have to buy one

Hey mate - i paid big bucks for the best quality, not CHINESE brand thats factory

plp buy the cheap $400 ebay jobs, & i have seen them freeze in the heat, touch screen is crap & the quality, its laughable!!!!

Yours is gen 1 yup? Looking at the website and they have one type for the Mazda 3. Assuming that the one they have for their website only fits the gen 2?

Mate same here, I was selling my mps about 2-3 months due to personal circumstances however people keep offering me silly amounts of 20-24k for a gen2 with just 36k kms and full year rego..
I end up getting a secured personal loan to pay for my grandma hospital bills.

also people think that mps are not worth it as compared to gti or write which is BS.
