Thread: Torque Wrench - Aldi (sat 12 oct)

  1. Default Torque Wrench - Aldi (sat 12 oct)

    Hi All,

Saw this in the Aldi catalogue. I picked one up a year ago, still going well. Comes with a 3 yr warranty. Not bad for a lobster

Only thing I wouldn't know about it is it's tolerance, but it looks pretty damn like my $79 one from repco.
That aside it looks like a great buy at $19 with a 3 year warranty!!! O_o

Cheapcheap! Looks different to the two kinchrome that I just bought though.

TBH I wouldn't trust that thing at all to be accurate. Don't skimp on precision tools hey

Seconded... My torque wrench cost me a small fortune.

Not something you want to buy cheap, that thing will most certainly not be as accurate as Kingchrome or Sidchrome. Have to agree with MadAussie here........

One way to know. Buy it and get the accuracy measured.

You might find it's accurate... once.

Torque settings aren't something you should skimp on, having a clutch plate scoop your knee out as it comes hurtling through the firewall would ruin your day hey.

I know that's probably overdramatic, but things fail if they aren't tightened correctly.
