So I was converting the car from racecar to daily driver and had finished changing over the brakes and I noticed there is a little bit of play from the passenger side anti-rattle shim in the caliper.

I noticed it the other day, but thought I'd get opinions from those more knowledgeable than myself.
Any ideas on why or how it's happening? And the most important question, does it matter if there is a bit of play in the shim?
FYI the driver's side shim fits snug with no play at all.
