    Wow very interesting!

I see it says that it can work on a stock rotor, but will these work with the factory wheels??

Sorry if I've missed that info somewhere.....

Apologies in advance if this is a dumb question...

4 Pot is all you need. In fact I think they are preferable to 6 pots.

Do they fit the stock rims is the million dollar question.

Edge also have a range of Ksport brake kits as well as the Stop Tech ones.

Last time I checked Willwood and Stop Tech didn't fit the stock rims, this new range of Willwood ones might tho. Especially the one that fits the stock Rotor.

To date the ONLY kit that I know fits under the stock wheel is the Corksport one.

    Lots of questions! Lol!!

I will try to answer all of them

They will not fit the stock wheels on the first gen speed 3, but they will fit if you use a 5mm spacer.

Pictured above is the 13" big brake kit we are in the process of installing on the shop car. The pads that came with the kit are Hawk HPS, but we are working on sourcing some wilwood specific pads as well as other comparable pads that will fit. I don't see a reason why we won't be able to offer different pad options for you guys, but for right now, the Hawk HPS are the only ones immediately available.

They are abs compatible and the rear caliper option retains use of the E-Brake as well.

Also, the rotors for the 13" Big Brake kit weigh in at 14.4lbs which is 5.8lbs less than the 20.2 lb stock rotors. Saving 5.8 lbs of rotational mass for the win!!

How about gen 2 wheel fitment then? Will it fit them without a spacer?

Pretty sure there is bugger all offset difference.

    GEN1: +52
    GEN2: +52.5

But the shape of the spokes might give it just enough wiggle room. GEN1 is quite flat where the GEN2 has a similar shape to the orange rim above.

Yea the offset has very little to do with brakes, its all about the wheel design.

Only requiring a 5mm spacer to fit under stock rims seem promising that it may fit under a wheel with an appropriate spoke design. The picture with the orange wheels is on a Mazda without spacers? Do you think you could measure the distance from the centre of the rotor to the outside of the caliper for the stock rotors?

Also will the brake bias change much on any of the calipers?

That was my question too, do we need to compliment the fronts with rears? The rears at the moment are on DBA T2 rears with Hawk HPS pads (all round). Any reason why the 4 pilston set up for the fronts wouldn't work on the T3's I have on the front now?

DBA T3 is a stock size rotor so that would mean that 4 pots would fit.

Is there any method (like a template of sorts) we could use to determine if they would fit the wheels if they aren't stock?
I have 17x9 RPF1's +45, which by the offset suggests these would fit if they fit the stock rims with a 5mm spacer, but by no means is that a guarantee and I wouldn't buy brakes unless I was 101% sure they were going to fit..

I had some 17x9 +45 RPF1's that I sold about a week before we got these in or I would test this out for you. I'll see what I can do to get you an idea of what size and offsets will fit.

The factory MS3 wheel is 18x7 +52. The wilwood kit is not as deep as the factory caliper so I don't think the OD will be a problem with the 13" BBK. The factory wheels touch the wilwood caliper when bolted on and tightened down enough that they won't spin. I believe it is a matter of 1mm that keeps them from working with the stock wheels. I'll run out and get some measurements for you guys though
