    Never stood a chance with their prices plus the advertising was a bit on the weak side...........

    True that, also had stiff competition and 2 few model choice , they should have stuck with Holden,would have had a better chance.

    Definitely disappoints me. I was keen to go an OPC as my next car. haha from all reports it's as good as the Megane and co.

    I think their biggest issue was why Holden ditched them: Opel Astra and Vectras had possibly the worst name around for reliability and cost of servicing. My workplace were offloading their last model Holden Astras to employees for a pittance - < $8K with less than 15000km for 2009, 2010 models. Even non-car people didn't go for them because they have such a bad name, and rubbish resale value.
