However the Sti is the only one that looks okay in the flesh.

Bah, I reckon the new STi looks tough as. The standard WRX is a bit shit but I suspect a face lift will fix a lot of the issues. Remember the bug eye, a few mods to the front end and it's a completely different car.

I'll wait till I see one in the flesh, but it is growing on me too!

And Subie looks to plain for my liking

The new MPS is a hot little car, it's like all new cars that are released to impress when the predecessor has already succeeded... Of course there will always be the bias opinions from the people who already own the older model (I own one), but the fact and the matter is the more you look at it, the more you love it, and the older our models will all look. Although I love my car to death, and shouldn't look at cars as an investment, it's not at all a bad idea to at least salvage some of the depreciation... Time to sell while there is still time and value in what we have.

p.s hopefully they are released in white this time...

+1 Joe, like you say, there will always be bias out there, but I think given the 2nd MPS3 (that is, all new design), hopefully this will be dressed to impress those eager to get into one (myself included)...

Waiting to see it in the flesh, and in BLACK of course

I might have to eat my words, I don't mind the new MPS in that colour and from that angle. Final judgement reserved for in person

Im not sure is the STi spec-R.

In any case is the STi the only decent one of the whole new Subaru range, but for over 60K Im wouldnt be getting near one.

It would belong to Mazda, I assume it's their press/pre-production evaluation car. Mazda Oz HQ is in Melbourne.

Does anyone know of or know where I can get specs on it? I've had a quick look, but I can never seem to find the weight which is what I'm looking for.

I don't think there is an official weight yet. But I hear its slightly heavier than the previous model.
