Mine is probably going back to COBB
I want it for the multiple parameter monitoring...

Also, looks like you'll be able to edit launch control, flat foot shift & idle settings from the device itself

Really, that's sounds awesome I really want launch control and flatfoot shifting as the ECUTEC tune don't have those features yet. Thanks

Hmmm I wonder if they release the WM version as well as the US version?
Guess we'll have to wait until they wake up

Pretty sure they shouldn't have any issues getting WM out at the same time

I was referring to the different versions Cobb have for the different releases of Mazda's around world

WM - Being World Release Mazda's
USDM - Being US release Mazda's

Having the ability to adjust you FFS or Launch Control in the car, would be extremely handy, especially if you were trying to set a world record drag strip time using Kinforest Tyres (Sorry @Mr.Harry)

Yes I would agree with you. Nice items inside the car are a must, because that's where you spend your time!

Well I got mine for $450 and it's brand new, never used. I'll prob use it until a group buy comes up for these things, and then sell it. (Depending on trade in price if that is certain)
That said, I was going to buy some gauges but now I won't have to (saving money there) and can sell my gauge pod (more money towards it!) so it won't be a problem.

I'll definitely be getting one of these.

Next month (around the 20th) I'll be shopping for either a new AP or a second hand one - so if anyones thinking of upgrading in the near future, let me know. As much as the colour screen is pretty and all, I'm keen to stick with function > form

I like setting max min values for the gauges being viewed. Definitely a bonus!
I'm a little confused about "Anti theft mode?"

Edit: It has an inbuilt gun or such? Pepper spray?

It basically restricts the car from starting
It is overridden by plugging in your AP

I like GibbA's idea. Detects you aren't the correct driver, LCD explodes, fires all the airbags and showers you with glass

I dont' remember writing this "Detects you aren't the correct driver, LCD explodes, fires all the airbags and showers you with glass" but it'll do

Does the current AP have this?
I love this idea, though imagine if they made an app for the AP, then you could just use your phone etc for that... Wouldn't have to worry about your phone being flat as it would start charging when you plugged it in! (Maybe i'm getting a little ahead of myself)
