A big Thanks to everyone for their input on this. I have heeded your warnings and I have just placed an order for the Autotech internals which should arrive next week thanks again!

MRT will be installing it when they do the turbo. Re my avatar I don't know what happened to it. I'll jump on the computer and check. Cheers

Don't MRT usually say upgraded pump isn't needed even with turbo swaps.

MRT said they can check with tune whether fuel pressure is holding but after reading everything here we decided to get it even if its just for peace of mind. Definitely don't want ZZB

For low boost on stock turbo scenarios (ie: me) then I think there is a strong argument against breaking the seals on any part of the engine, the chances of things failing go up dramatically once you start stuffing around with them.

For high boost and upgraded turbos it's a complete no brainer.

the only time u have to worry about cam wear is if the HPFP spring is increased. Since its not with autotech internals not to worry

If you installed the Autotech internals, or even looked at the box there is a warning label on it with big red angry text...

Not sure if its been said but here is my short comment early model Mps's have had hpfp fails more than likely being the reason for the zzb theory, mechanical/internal failure of the hpfp is not related to fuel quality from what I have seen in stock cars. It is def a good mod to do and should be one of the first 3 you do as maintaining a consistent and safe fuel pressure is extremely important in direct injection.
Every man should have a V8 ute.....with a Chev badge.....and a Southern Cross sticker! Mods? What mods?
