    Seriously, bring something warm like, really warm... It was 0.5 degrees this morning when I left the house, and Yarra Junction was -2.3.

    You'll have smoke when you breathe out. Do you know what that's like?

    Also humidity will be less than 95%. It'll be a totally new experience for you!

    Tell me about it, I work with a QLDer who's lived down here for a few years now. I still hear the "I hate bloody Melbourne winters" from him.

    As for layers Jody, pack your bags, then grab another layer just in case, then pack some more. Biggest bonus, flooring your car in sub 4deg temps... the engine just begs to be opened up and let go!

    Given how we are still not having jumper weather here, these warm clothes you speak of bringing dont even exist. Lol

    Will bring the few things we own and shop for more when we arrive I guess.

    It's only a week. Might have to find a body to keep me warm at night
