Fair enough, wondering if it was due to that, or if there were issues with the AP.

    What's the rice reference about?

dont really want to spend that much for it just yet. if im gonna buy new gonna first get exhaust and coilovers then that

I wouldn't really get an AP by itself. Purchase a CP-e HPFP or AutoTech internals to compliment the AP.

    That's correct
Can't change MAF housing size without a tune
    Rest is fine

Pm me for prices for this from our group buy if you're interested anyone. Great savings and ends this week. @leisk is not an AP cheaper than an exhaust?

Yeah but the exhaust is cool and im gonna buy a new one of that, and the coilovers since my car needs low. Im in no rush so if i find an ap for good price ill get it, if i dont after the coilovers and exhaust ill just buy it new

Fair enough. Remember it is a fair cost to get exhaust installed (dump pipe), so costs more than just the item if you're not going to install it.

Also going to need fuel pump internals, whether you get a AP or an exhaust...

AP will be more fun tho...

And exhaust gets you WAY big attention. Quiet ftw (lets face it, these motors sound like high powered tractors unless you are thrashin them...)

    Anyone selling their AP pls??

I'm rather confused by this thread... A brand spankin' AP shipped to your door from the states is around the $650 mark.... There are not many second hand ones and at best, you could pay $450 from a generous and highly motivated seller, but really looking around the $500 mark for a saving of ~$150.

Then on top of that, the alternative to the AP if not bought second hand and knocking off ~$150 is to buy a 'new exhaust system' and coilovers - the combined sum of which is AT LEAST $2k all done and dusted with install.

Trust me, I'm all for finding the best price, but the logic behind the cost saving and mod progression here just doesn't add up.

IMO, get the AP and the internals and enjoy the fantastic (and safe) difference it will make for your car and look forward to the exhaust and coilovers down the track. Just my 2c.
