    Thanks Nath!
Would be a viable solution if your using the RCA's from the HU.

The loom just requires the top and corresponding bottom wire to be connected together, counting back once you figure out which pin goes to which. If you can solder then your 3/4 of the way there. I used the wiring off the mazda3forum, and noted that there is a pin which does nothing on the incoming loom, so with the PAC loom you just need to count 1 more across (sounds confusing but makes sense when you look at socket).

So not really plug and play, but not a great deal of effort if you can solder. I'd recommend not doing the dodgy and twisting and taping the wires.

No problems. Took a few weeks to come from the states.

Here is a few photos of the back of the factory loom. Top row is the wiring which goes to the speakers, bottom row is the wiring from the HU to the amp, in the first 2 photos.

As you can see on the bottom left, the first is empty, then the next is the remote turn on, as per the list on the mazda3forums. There are some colour differences described for the bottom row, so I counted from left to right and matched up the wires. Tested the audio to each speaker successfully, so the wiring position is the same, just different colours. I've adjusted the colours in the list below from mazda3forums.

When you get the new loom, the male end of the loom, solid back wire will line up with the grey w/red stripe wire.

TOP - In order from left to right. These are the speaker outputs
    grey w/ red stripe (FR-)
    white w/ red stripe (FR+)
    grey w/ black stripe (FL-)
    white w/ black stripe (FL+)
    solid grey (BR-)
    solid white (BR+)
    grey w/ white stripe (BL-)
    white w/ purple stripe (BL+)

BOTTOM - In order from left to right. These are the inputs to the amp
    solid blue (remote turn on)
solid purple (FL+) - Solid Red AUS
green w/ white paint (FL-) Solid Dark Green AUS
solid red (FR+) Solid Purple AUS
solid green (FR-) Solid Light Green AUS
brown w/ blue stripe (BL+) yellow w/ green stripe AUS
yellow w/ blue stripe (BL-) white w/ blue stripe AUS
yellow w/ green stripe (BR+) black w/blue stripe AUS
white w/ blue stripe (BR-) yellow w/ blue stripe AUS

Any chance you can share the link for yours? Couldn't seem to find on eBay, or anywhere else for that matter.

Yeah I've found a couple on american eBay, but the listings have ended and not been relisted.
The company Sonic Electronix was one eBay store selling them that no longer does (not surprising)

    edit;

    Not on Amazon either :/

I wouldn't be sure where you would start looking to see where you could get the male plug from.

That may be the only way - have u checked Mazda stealers to see if they could sell u just the LCD? May be as much as the wreckers quoted u for the stereo

Yes, read through the previous pages and there's discussion and mention of the few issues you'll encounter.

I have BOSE audio and am running the D5151.
