    Default Stolen: Headlight Washer Thingy

Sometime during the week, most likely Tuesday or Wednesday, someone has decided to knock off one of my headlight washer covers and whatever else is attached to it.

It seems as though it wasn't a random act of vandalism, as there is no other damage and it seems a little involved to remove the above mentioned parts. Obviously another MPS owner needed my headlight washer more than I did

After calling Mazda for a price (and subsequently paying said price), I was shocked...$176 for the cover (excluding painting) and $36 for the nozzle.

I just hope my car doesn't become a parts car for the two Cosmic Blue MPS's that live nearby.

Mine actually fell off my car while on the highway....

I cleaned my windows....auto washers happened...

Then when i got to my destination...my drivers washer was missing.

Took it to mazda...who said...someone must have stolen it...

But to actually get them off...you would need to wedge something under them..as they are attached to nozzle.

So...if you have no damage or marks around the cover....I would say it has fallen off.

I doubt anyone would steal it..as you require parts inside the nozzle.

This could have happened although I don't recall washing my windscreen lately.....

What did Mazda end up doing? Did they replace it...or did you have to fork out?

They are quite easy to remove.....You just grab hold of the cover and pull up which extends the motor and the undo the clip on the nozzle.

As the nozzle and the cap are missing, it seems hard to beleive that it could jsut fly off.
