Wow even starting late in the year and Hyundai sold more Velosters than Mazda MPSs?

    Speechless!

Because Mazda seem to have forgotten about the MPS.

They don't advertise it, it never makes it to magazine tests (maybe mazda won't allow it, i don't know) nobody knows what they are. Rarely do i see them in dealers show rooms.

As per a recent Top Gear episode had stated Toyota and Subaru had come to an agreement on how many 86/BRZ could be sold

There are only so many BRZ's that can be sold for so many 86's. Not sure on the figure I think it's 1 in 5

Will watch again and find out

Don't you mean it helps resale?

Also surprised the Evo, Type R sell at such low volumes, when you'd consider them a more "known about" car.

Low numbers = mazda not bothering with a gen 3.

    Remember the 6 MPS???

Curious, do you have figures for cars like Commodore SS, Falcon XR6 Turbo, Nissan 370Z etc? It'd be interesting to know what the best selling performance car in Australia is.

I will try to get those figures for you, but on a guess I would say Golf GTI with over 2000 cars sold for year

Looks ungainly and not a great handler by all reports.. I pretty much like all the current Hyundai shapes a lot, except for the Veloster.

Surely ford sold more than 2 xr5, I see quite a few around?

The MPS numbers don't bode too well for Mazda bothering to release the next one here.

That's 2 new XR5s in 2012. It was basically discontinued in 2011. What was sold last year was leftovers at a really good price (around $32k)
The ST ford are importing 100 per month since November and probably already out sold the MPS

Pity the ST is possibly the most boring looking car of 2012/13. So dull!
