Can't see the outside while your driving it.
Not going to argue that they aren't the best looking cars on the road, but neither are Gen 2s
Wow interesting numbers, I didn't realise the MPS numbers would be so low.
Didn't know where to put this...
Interesting Vid
I guess the MS3 GenII is 3-4 years old now

After a week of driving my ST around as much as some might not like what I'm about to say, but honestly, the ST is better than the MPS in just about every way.
BUT
Slixx has it right above. The ST is 4 years newer than the MPS, so it should be better.
Everything that I disliked about the MPS is great on the ST.
Should Mazda release a new MPS in a year or two, I expect an improvement over the ST.
Glad you chimed in on this one Brad, and might I say a very diplomatic angle you used there :P of all the pros though I can't get past how much better looking the XR5 is imo most of the budget developing this car has clearly been allocated to the engineering team and not so much to the design team.

I don't think anyone has raised bad points there. The Ford seems like a much better driver's car, but you'd hope so since it's so much newer.
I also agree that it's possibly one of the most boring cars to look at, on sale at the moment. The back end doesn't really look like they bothered with it.
Interestingly enough though.. How many people would buy either an MPS or ST over a GTi brand new? I without a doubt would be buying the Volkswagen. It does everything on a whole nother level.
