there is... ignition timing, fuel dropping under 1600psi, and excessive knock are all contributing factors... (yes there is more, but thats a simple list off top of head)

Yep, lots of reasons can cause engine failure as has been well documented.

But what I am trying to explain is boost is a easy way to make a car look powerful and or fast, but the tuner who does the job has to make a decision on what he thinks is "safe"
Every tuner has a awkward job of balancing power Vs reliability Vs drivability.

There is no black and white recipe
You can have too much boost and shit cam control
or low boost and lean fuel mixtures....

Our results are based on the most testing done in OZ (we beleive)
Not all our data is published as it costs a lot to work it all out, but some of this data (not all) is then passed onto EcuteK tuners to share and help Nationally and Internationally

Some agree with our results some dont, but we try our best to explain why we do what we do, sometimes that is just not easy and hence we (try to) avoid getting into arguments.

The way I see it is if a tuner hasnt blown someones car up the must be doing something right... but I cant criticize anyone coz I have no idea what to do... but on the other side I know is you just cant adjust boost and think our car will be fine you also need to adjust other stuff and have other mods ie fp internals in place to suit the boost level... if that is right???

I don't think MRT actively monitor this thread for quotes? Might be wrong...
Calling them would be your best bet for parts + ECUTEK pricing.

    My 0.02c:
    - COBB AP
    - Fuel Pump
    - Downpipe (at least, you can go full turbo back)
    - CAI

Load COBB stage 2. Have a huge grin on your face
