MPS3 rims to big?

Just wondering if it's better to drag race worth smaller rims I find the factory 18s to be to big which feels really ruff on the drive shafts I was thinking maybe purchasing a set of s15 rims ?? And maybe put slicks on them

Some have run good times on lighter 18' rims in Gen1 mps's. If its a gen2 id drop down due to the taller gearing
