Default Koni: FSD vs Sport Yellows? Gen II

Need some advise on which to get.

Ordering h&R lowering springs. So I need shocks to support.

    FSD or Yellows?

    Easy, yellows.
FSD isn't really suited to lowering. Only with eibach springs or stock are FSD suggested by koni themselves

Yeah, a bit of flame there, lots have ask the same question...

But what do you want from the change?

    Obviously lowering...You bought springs already.

Bilstien B8's BILSTEIN B8 great for lowering.

Some more from Mazdaspeeed Forum, http://www.mazdaspeedforums.org/foru...yellow-103153/ (did you search there?)

    Dunno about Koni's.

I love my B8 and King setup, low enough, firm enough, great feel on the road without the harshness of a similar priced coilerover set up.

I have had the Koni Yellows, they dont have the control of the B8's. The Konis jump in the air on bumps at higher speeds esp when u hit consecitive bumps

http://www.ozmpsclub.com/forum/handl...tml#post218499 <-- is about the best way to sum it all up...
most noticeably exception to this rule, is KW V3's... which are basically the best "reasonably" priced street coilovers you can go...

I have Koni FSDs and Eibach Pro Springs

Great daily driver. Firm but acceptable IMO

My focus is lowering without blowin shocks too quickly. I have only had experience with Koni's with my past civics and previous wrx. Had them set to 50% all round and found they were firm and handled great but would get some bounce on bumps at high speeds... But i was also running King Springs super lows with the konis...

My other focus is to have almost the same amount of firmness as stock sussy....

Nice mate. Hows the ride? I thought Pro springs aren't suitable for FSD's? Oh and how are the FSD's? How do the shockers feel when choosing a certain driving style?

Btw - That was me at the car wash tonight haha

Bilstiens B8s will stop the jump on bumps with lowering springs. They ride nicely as well
