Thread: Still having issues :(

    Default Still having issues :(

hey guys was wondering if you can help me out. currently have a 2005 MPS6 and my car is randomly cutting all my power when i accelerate. and not under hard acceleration, just normal too.

I thought it could of been my spark plugs due to reading this
Mazdaspeed 3/6 Modification Guide 2006 to Current

but have now upgraded them and still happening.

The important thing to note is that i added some wynns extreme octane boost shit into my fuel which ups octane and supposed to help pinging and what not and that seemed to resolve the issue....for a bit :/ as in a few more tanks of fuel.

    Anyone got anymore solutions??

i cleaned my MAF sensor but think it must have to do with the fuel line somewhere. I was thinking injectors? Injector seals?? Fuel pump? not too sure.

i just have a few fairly basic mods, intake, cat back, cobb AP and always run 98RON

    any ideas would be appreciated!!

Try running on Cobb safe map or stock and see if it helps

Sounds like boost leak? Check all hoses/clamps?

This happened to me as well. I have an AP also.

I changed maps back and forth. No change.

Then decided to completely remove the AP altogether. Still no change.

Then downloaded latest Stage 2 map with full fruit and hasn't done it since.

Sorry, I didn't find out the issue. But it's resolved for now.

Could be the classic cutting under WOT issue due to the coil springs being too compressed and not conducting correctly. You need to take them out one at a time, stretch them back out abit and that will hopefully work

I'd say boost leak too. Check cooler clamps front and back
