This is probably a stupid question to some people but could someone tell me what material is the ehaust system on my gen.1 3mps is made from? Is it stainless or not?

The factory exhaust is 2.5" mandrel bent stainless steel, few manufacturers use mild steel in car exhausts these days

Full stainless on Gen 1,
Stainless centre and aluminized piping on the rear section on Gen 2.

Yes, thanks Troy. Today I got the rear resinator removed but with the exhaust being stainless I obviously had to find an exhaust centre who could weld stainless.
