    Default Gen 2 mps revs

Hi all, got my BL13 mps a few weeks ago and need an answer on the mps and the way it revs. Now my gen 1 08 sports hit a brick wall at 5500 rpm, but my BL13 will happily rev to 7000 with no brick wall at all.
Now i can't remember the earlier gen 2s revving that hard .. Can someone clarify? Thanks in advance.

Just as reference my 2012 also revs quite freely to 7000.

Yeah. The same. On the track the other day, it loved it all the way to 7k.

My 2010 BL used to drop something fierce after 5,500.

Post tune though, it doesn't seem to run out of puff anywhere near as bad, even though the graph shows torque starting to drop from about the same point.

    Default Gen 2 mps revs

2011 BL2, Sept 11 build so its one of the first BL2's, stock it was done at about 6000rpm, now it's tuned but its still done earlyish, stops doing anything at about 6200-6300rpm now.

The mid range is so strong post tune though that having nothing up top doesn't matter much

Mine's a 2009 BL and it drops off very quickly after 5500rpm. Might have to get a tune sorted!

Just a note: it doesnt actually rev to 7000, the rev cutout is 6500RPM, the tachometer is just inaccurate as shit.

At lower revs it is quite accurate, the error gets bigger the higher the revs climb.

I have to say that our new White MPS drove bloody well and was very impressed with it , but didn't need to rev it to 7000rpms , well done mate so you traded it in at Grand Prix Mazda ....

    Only 6000? Gaaaaayyyyy.

Wakefield Multi Cam Track Attack! - YouTube - listen for the rev limiter at 25 second mark. That's how you do it.
