Give RainX from @ZAS a go. Transformed the way water behaves on the windscreen. On highway speeds you almost don't need wipers.

After you apply it, the glass feels very smooth, which should help your shuddering problem.
@ZAS also sell the RainX wiper additive which maintains the performance of the original application.

    A demo of its performance.

    Windex? Really?

I have the Bosch wipers. They rock too.

I've tried swapping my wipers to my brother's car and the wipers work fine on his windscreen and his wipers skip on mine.
Hopefully it's not my wiper arm/motor. It doesn't skip when it's dry but skip when wet, so I can hopefully rule that out. I've run out of ideas with what to/not put on the windscreen.

Tried rainX or not same problem.

    Has anyone mentioned Windscreen restoration?

    This as an example...

This will almost certainly be machine polishing with a cerium-based glass polish.

Useful if you have a pitted or streaked windscreen but the OP said the windscreen isn't very old.

I've dabbled around in this and have the tools to glass polish. It's an arduous process though (coming from me that will hopefully give you an indication of just how arduous lol)

At that cost, for us a new one would be better. They cater more for "hard to find" automotive glass.

But yes, as OP stated, it is virtually new anyway.

    Lol you guys aren't helping!

    I've tried the following :
    - RainX
    - Claybar
    - Windex
    - Swapping wipers

Windscreen is less than a year old and is very new and well kept (No chips or scratches)
    Both wipers skip/chatter/jump.
Wipers only skip/chatter/jump when there is water.

Turned out that it was the wipers itself, the wiper company has warranty on it and got replaced at my local AutoPro for free. Cheapest fix ever, phew!
