    Just on the Hypertech, heard mixed reports that it's only recommended with the stock turbo?

    Current mods:

    CP-e DP
    Turbosmart BOV
    BNR Stage 1
    CS TIP

    Hypertech for me or nah?

    Would not advise on BNR.. Should be custom tuned not OTS map

    You should look into it a bit more TBH, the Hypertech is a generic tune for minimal mods.

    The AP is a tuning device that happens to also have generic maps to suit most basic mods included with it. With a BNR I would recommend a custom tune of some type.

    My Mate bought a Hypertech for his 6mps and it didn't do anything, confirmed with a dyno and a Dashhawk.

    I doubt that.. Post up some logs and Dyno graphs.

    Maybe he is doing it wrong. Or maybe he does not have an intake. It definitely :works: I used to run one and there is one on the missus 6 MPS.

    I had a dyno run and dash hawk logs to verify also. The graphs went with the car but the others at the Tunehouse dyno day will confirm.

    Mate bought off this forum , don't think he get money back.
    I think it removed boost restriction but it won't boost past 14psi and only 145KW ATW, mechanic said nothing wrong with car.Maps seem to load ok , doesn't seem to do anything.

    Re flash it. I was hitting 19 psi with the hypertech.
    Either that or the unit it faulty.
    Connect it to a computer, install the software and update it first.

    Did he re flash over the top or flash to stock and then flash back?

    I'd contact hypertech for support they should he able to help.

    He flashed back to stock, then Flashed back.Its very strange because when he loaded the tunes the unit swigs everything was sucessful

    He has Corkdport SRI and he loaded what SRI, TIP into unit.On the computer it gave 3 options to download he down loaded the AUS version to the unit.When he hooked up unit to car it doesn't give many options, I think there was remove 0-60 ,idle, rev limit, Mods and that's it.Does that sound right?

    Yeah That's all normal.. If he used the software cd there might be newer software on the site. Else contact hypertech and they should be able to help.
