I just wants to confirm if anyone used this on Mps before. I mean Subaru got a horizontal engine which is so different to mazda. What if you get a foul O2 codes or hydrolock maybe.

Had a look on best way of cleaning intake valves and there was a good guide on MSF on cleaning however required taking off the inlet manifold (looked like a bit of work).

Then someone on MSF suggested this:

    3M 08963 Fuel System Tune-Up Kit : Amazon.com : Automotive
    3M™ Fuel System Tune-Up Kit - YouTube

    Anyone got any feedback?
Wonder how it differs from the Subaru Upper Engine Clean @slixx mentioned

This probably needs to be its own thread, sorry OP for continuing the derail

Feel free to pm me with any questions. I've used the Subaru cleaner it won't do much to the valves as most of it is caked on. Won't hurt the mps unless u spray too much in at once, best way to clean is with a walnut blaster or by hand with various gun cleaning brushes. I wouldn't bother unless you plan to do a catch can and egr delete or all your hard work will be for nothing. I have before and after photos of mine at 80k and it was not pretty.

Power is a little down, but delivery seems smoother.

AFR'S not where we would like it, but this is only the first map from Rich.

Anyway, have 3 WOT logs now for Rich, will send tonight and hope for something more juicy over the weekend.

Hey Pete, there is a whacky calculation required to make that number mean something.

Same Dyno, but you could be right. I took logs at the same time. Will compare.

On a dyno... Lots of reason for me NOT to do it on a road. I'm not sure whether there is a huge difference between road and dyno in regards to logs for the etune, but that's all I'm prepared to do to get them. MAF cal, different story, just cruise up a 80k road a few times. Easy.
