Default The ap really works :)

    Hey all,

I have had my ap for about 2 weeks now and have just been on the base 98 tune. Didn't really feel that much of a difference when I first flashes the ecu but today I unflashed it (doing lots of high driving ATM) as I wanted to see the fuel difference. And wow the car feels slow on pick up and mid speed acceleration too. Cobb have made an amazing bit of kit. I can't wait to get some more mods to see the improvements. Bring on stage 2 maps

I felt the difference straight away. The next big difference was when I installed my @2XS DP

    Wow. I love it

I got my Cobb AP First and loaded Stage 1.

Then I got my intake and loaded the appropriate map for the Sure v2

After my DP, I kept the same Map as there isn't any map when you add a DP

Does the ap work with Mac computers

  9. Default

the AP is a stand alone tuning device (hand held), hence you dont need a PC/mac to make it work. If you want a tuning platform for your mac/pc check out versatune

How would u download the maps onto it without a computer

  11. Default

ah yes, you do need to hook it up to a computer to flash the AP with the latest firmware and maps

It has mac support as of version 2

Doesn't it come with maps pre loaded or does it not work at all without a PC?

    Also, hello second me!

It comes with selected maps (all of the Cobb ones surprise surprise), but not all of the maps you might want/need for your mods.

Certainly need a pc to get latest firmware and map revisions

You need a mac or pc. Primarily to download maps, but also to update firmware, download logs etc.

Stage 2 maps with a dp should have a hpfp.
