    Hey all i got the engine light on... it came on when i was driving on tje highway... any ideas

    Yeh i hav a few mods but hav been on the car for a fair while now.... i disconnected the battery terminals and it has gone away is this a bad thing to do.... likely of engine damage

    Got a scanguage or ezyflash that can read your CEL. Txt us.

    who knows? unless you know what the CEL is for it could be anything.

    well..now you have disconnected the battery and the CEL is gone...
    i don't think you'll be able to see what caused the CEL despite having a OBD2 reader. You'll have to wait for the next CEL
